Team

RED-O was founded by two enterprising real estate professionals who together have been active in the real estate market for 40 years. Each brings their experience to the table based on their proven network, expertise and drive. They aim for optimal housing quality and return by operating flexibly and relying on the good network of specialists they’ve surrounded themselves with.

Wynand Verhoef

Wynand is an energetic, results-oriented, creative real estate professional. In recent years, he has evolved as a true entrepreneur. Since RED-O’s founding in 2019, he has demonstrated his ability to create and successfully advance a variety of investments and development opportunities with investment partners. This makes him the spider in the web and ensures that he can make projects feasible with the right partners in his network. His experience has also made him particularly skilled at asset management and the structuring of various investments. By focusing on each partner’s knowledge, capacity and network, he creates links between all the activities, from acquisition to operations and sales.

Robert Hellings

Robert is an ambitious, independent developer. For more than 20 years, he has been involved in risk-based development with his company Cedrus Vastgoed, completing a list of projects of which he is proud. He has realised properties for buyers, rental investors and dependants in need of care. The combination of Robert as a RED-O shareholder and the experience he brings to the table as an independent developer makes for a dynamic duo with Wynand as the creative dealmaker who focuses solely on interesting developments, sound investments and strategic management. Robert’s strengths can be put to even better use as ‘the’ developer over the coming years.

Visiting address

Red-O’s office is located in De Krachtcentrale in Huizen, a lively, dynamic environment with its ‘residents’ and café-restaurant. This isn’t just a restored National Monument that’s used as a backdrop but represents a life’s work that has been personally transformed and realised by the owner, designer and artist Peter Kos.

It was clear from the beginning—and visible from the model—that the building would become a quirky architectural design at the hands of the owner, Peter Kos. This isn’t your average restoration, but a true transformation and the fulfilment of a vision:

‘Preserve the Krachtcentrale for the Gooi region, developing it into a multifunctional, inspiring and accessible location.’

This has ultimately yielded a distinctive industrial look in the ‘New Business’ style, combined with a surprisingly creative layout and construction. A contrast with a highly successful end result.
