The Den - Rijswijk

For many years, Shell was the sole tenant of this beautiful office building (28,000 m²) in Rijswijk, and the building become completely vacant in June 2023. On behalf of the owner, RED-O asset management signed a design and build contract with DITT Architecten, the goal of which was to create a multitenant building here to accommodate over 2,000 employees. The renovation will be complete in Q4 of 2024. Rebaptised ‘The Den’, the building will offer space for a gym, caterer, community manager with an Italian bar in the fantastic atrium, a restaurant with live cooking, an office operator with the right hospitality skills, and ample meeting spaces for tenants and external parties. A wonderful investment has once again created here, with a minimum goal of achieving a ‘very good’ BREEAM rating.
